Major Settings options and v0.20.0 defaults.
The following are the main v0.20.0 defaults and controls. Commercial license management is intentionally located on the separate Instant Languages → License screen rather than mixed into provider settings.

Frontend switcher
Available positions are bottom-right, bottom-left, top-right and top-left. Transition duration accepts 0–1000 ms.
URL mode
- Prefix — recommended for public multilingual SEO.
- Query — uses
?lang=zu. - None — language changes without a language-specific URL.
Preload strategy
- Current page languages — recommended for most sites.
- Whole site cache — more aggressive and potentially larger.
- Active language only — minimizes initial language payload.
Publication workflow

Secret fields
DeepL, Google and custom-provider secret fields are intentionally empty when the Settings screen reloads. Leaving a secret field blank keeps the previously saved value unless the dedicated remove/clear option is selected.
Commercial licensing
License activation is managed under Instant Languages → License. The licensing store defaults to https://stardetha.com/; developers can override it with ist_license_store_url. v0.20.0 uses a 14-day connectivity grace period after a successful validation.
